Each year TAG-Ed engages hundreds of participants in pursuing professional development across a wide variety of industries. For many, the exposure to industry innovations and invested experts is enough to propel them to new and exciting career heights.
Each year, TAG-Ed places Georgia students in summer internships, providing them with critical work experience and invaluable mentorship opportunities. The Horizon Awards is a celebration of those who are broadening Georgia’s future horizons: our outstanding students and their dedicated mentors.
The 2018 Horizon Awards will be held on August 7, 2018 from 4 pm to 7 pm at NCR Corporation.
The Horizon Awards honors both students and host companies. The student categories include
- The Accelerator Award
- The Revolutionary Award
- The Student Pinnacle Award
Host company categories include:
- The Youth Advocate Award
- The Industry Impact Award
- The Mentor Pinnacle Award
We also announce the winner of the Tell Your Story Competition at The Horizon Awards! Check out the winning video above. All student award categories receive post-secondary scholarships.
Yes, all student winners receive post-secondary scholarships, including the Tell Your Story winner.
All participating companies and students are invited to attend The Horizon Awards. Each intern host company receives two tickets to the event as part of their intern host package.
