A Look at What TAG-Ed Has Accomplished in 2016

As we near the end of 2016, the TAG-Ed team is humbled by all we have accomplished this year through the support of our STEM community.

Because of your time and generosity, we made significant gains in expanding our STEM education initiatives and ensuring that Georgia continues to be a leader for technology innovation and talent. This past year, we engaged over one million Georgia students in experiential, hands-on STEM learning. Through Georgia STEM Day, Georgia Day of Code, summer internships, web design competitions, and interview workshops, we have continued to broaden our reach and our impact across the state.  Because of you, this year we:

0 %
Increased social media following on Twitter and Facebook
0
Total number of students engaged in GA STEM Day 2016
0
Paid, technology internship placements for Georgia high school students
$ 0
Sponsored scholarship dollars for continuing education
0
Events hosted for Georgia Day of Code
0
Interview and Application workshops hosted throughout the community

And the achievements we just can’t put numbers to:

Creation of the Alumni Advisory Board
We gathered our top program alumni to help propel our programs forward.
Launching the Exploring STEM Careers Pipeline Program
We launched our newest program made possible through the Arthur Blank Family Foundation.
Redesigning our Website and Brand
We created a new brand for TAG-Ed, suitable for our audiences of students and executives alike.
Hosting the Horizon Awards
We created the inaugural ceremony honoring TAG-Ed intern hosts and mentors.
