ATLANTA – September 17, 2025 –

The Technology Association of Georgia Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed) partners with Google Cloud’s Career Launchpad Program to offer certificates for high-demand technology careers in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity. Open to both beginners and professionals seeking to upskill, the program offers self-paced learning in a unique cohort-based format to increase program completion success rates. Participants can choose from five certificate tracks—Cloud Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing Foundations, and Generative AI—and receive a complimentary exam voucher upon completion. Each certificate includes hands-on labs with Google Cloud tools and prepares learners for entry-level roles such as Cloud Engineer, Data Analyst, Cybersecurity Analyst, or Cloud Support Specialist. No prior cloud experience is required for the Foundations track, making it accessible to career-changers and newcomers alike. In Fall 2025, TAG-Ed will partner with IBM SkillsBuild to provide 7,500 certifications that prepare learners to enter and advance in Georgia’s tech ecosystem. “We are thrilled to partner with Google and IBM to equip Georgians with the AI and tech skills essential for today’s evolving workforce,” said Dr. Loretta Daniels, Executive Director of TAG Education Collaborative. “This collaboration reflects our deep commitment to ensuring every learner—whether upskilling or reskilling—has access to the tools and training needed to thrive in high-demand technology roles across the state.” As Georgia expands as a global hub of innovation, TAG-Ed’s partnerships with Google Cloud and IBM aim to address the state’s growing demand for skilled technology professionals. These programs are available to individuals over the age of 18 interested in gaining competitive skills to enhance their careers in tech. Enrollment is now open for the upcoming cohort.
