Community Support

TAG-Ed is proud to support a variety of community programs that drive innovation, education, and growth within Georgia’s communities. From youth STEM initiatives to mentorship opportunities, these programs provide individuals with the support and opportunities to thrive in today’s workforce.

CyberSHEro

A female-focused event hosted by the University of North Georgia aimed at encouraging young women to pursue careers in cybersecurity. It features hands-on activities like cryptography lessons and cybersecurity demos, plus panel discussions with female professionals from the field. The event aims to promote diversity in the cyber workforce by offering insights and resources to high school students interested in cyber education.

Nation Builders Innovation Challenge

The Innovation Challenge is conducted in collaboration with Microsoft, the Technology Association of Georgia, Women of AT&T, and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. The program challenges high school students to develop technologies that positively impact their communities during a summer internship in groups.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta

The nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
